MTSU Band of Blue Alumni Club

Dear Former Band of Blue Member,

This year’s alumni band day will celebrate the heritage of 50 plus years of musical excellence at MTSU.  All former members of the band are invited to come and reminisce about the good ol’ days, cheer on the Division 1A Blue Raiders, and play, twirl, beat, or dance once again in Johnny “Red” Floyd Stadium.  And yes, we will even have the old version of the fight song ready to go—let’s show the current band members how it was done way back then!

On Saturday, October 1st, 2011, while MTSU battles Memphis, all Band of Blue alumni are invited back to the MTSU campus to take part in the Homecoming Celebration.   All winds, percussion, guard, majorettes, dance team, drum majors, instructors, and directors who have ever been a member of the Band of Blue are welcome. That means YOU!

All alumni band members and one guest will receive free admission to the game and will sit with the Band of Blue.  Additional tickets available for $8.  Dress is informal.  Alumni band shirts are available for $15 (while supplies last!). 

Make your reservation by Tuesday, September 27th by completing the registration form on the enclosed flyer, calling 1.800.533.MTSU or complete your registration below.  We will need advance notice if you wish to borrow an instrument from the university.  Music will be distributed during Alumni Band Day registration.
