MTSU Band of Blue Alumni Club

For over 50 years, the Band of Blue has entertained and supported the Blue Raiders across the United States. We are proud to be a group of alumni, friends, family, and community members just like you, who support the students of MTSU Bands. Through tax-deductible donations, we provide student scholarships and financial support for band activities; every dollar raised goes to support these efforts.

While you may not yet be an alumnus of MTSU Bands, (have attended the university for a minimum of 12 credit hours – that’s all!) you are a part of one of the largest collegiate bands in the nation, one with a supportive alumni base, and one dedicated to ensuring students receive the support they need to perform at the highest level. For almost 30 years, the Band of Blue Alumni Club has provided scholarship support. Founded by the late Horace Beasley (former MTSU Band Director), BoBAC continues to sponsor The Joseph T. Smith Scholarship Award, The Horace Beasley Scholarship Award, and the Linda Mitchell Scholarship Award. Plans are now under way to provide even greater scholarship support for the students of the Band of Blue.

We invite you, your family, and anyone else who enjoys the Band of Blue – whether alumni or not – to support the MTSU Band Scholarship Fund. For only $25, you can make a tax-deductible gift, impacting the educational success of a university band student, regardless of their major.
